Anti-war protesters, veterans march

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – About 250 people joined in the first anti-war march on the Republican National Convention, in what was shaping up as a warm-up for a much larger march tomorrow.

Today’s march took anti-war veterans and other peace groups from the State Capitol to the Xcel Energy Center where the Republican convention starts tomorrow…

Organizers of tomorrow’s march say as many as 50,000 people could participate.
